Welcome to my blog.
This is my very first blog, and I’m really excited to share my adventures with you. Stories about special encounters, beautiful trips, exciting moments, and experiences that have stayed with me.
And this adventure started last July, when I received a last-minute message from a German gentleman. He wanted to spontaneously get away for a few days and asked if I would join him as discreet company. A girlfriend experience while traveling. Laughing together, enjoying life together, giving each other attention, and escaping normal life for a little while.
After some messaging, we agreed to meet in Athens. He flew in from Germany and I flew in from Amsterdam. Two people who had never seen each other before, both on their way to a place that was new to us. I found that exciting. Not scary, but with those lovely butterflies in my stomach. You simply don’t know what someone will be like in real life, and suddenly you’re about to spend several days together.
For Athens, I was allowed to choose the hotel. I chose a beautiful hotel with a view of the Acropolis. When I saw him at the airport, I was still nervous, but that feeling disappeared quite quickly. He was kind, calm, and caring. From the very first moment, there was a soft tension between us. Not uncomfortable, but actually really nice.
That evening, we had dinner on the hotel’s rooftop terrace. And in the moment we were sitting there, I suddenly felt such a weight lift off my shoulders. There we were. After days of messaging, planning, and fantasizing about what it would be like, we were finally sitting together at the table. Live, in real life, with the illuminated Acropolis in front of us.
We raised our glasses of red wine, and I remember thinking: this is truly magical. The atmosphere, the view, the warmth, the tension between us. Everything felt special. At first, we kept the conversation light, feeling each other out a little and laughing about small things. But later, our conversations naturally became deeper. About who we are, what we enjoy, what we long for, and how special it actually was that two strangers had flown to another country to completely lose themselves in the moment together for a few days.
That first night, we fell asleep cuddling. Satisfied, warm, and somehow already very familiar. As if we had known each other much longer than just a few hours. And yet that tension was still there too, because the next day we would already be flying together to our next destination.
How special is that, really? You land in Athens, have a magical dinner together, fall asleep cuddling, and the next morning a whole new chapter begins. That may have been the most special part of all. You meet each other in one destination, and suddenly you board another plane together to the next place. As if you are disappearing from the real world together for a little while
