My first time as travel companion part 2

My first time as travel companion part 2

The next morning, we woke up slowly together. Still half asleep, cuddling a little longer before starting the day. There was no rush, no pressure, just that soft morning feeling after our first night together.

We had breakfast again with a view of the Acropolis, and honestly, it still felt a little unreal. The city, the sun, the view, and him sitting there with me. After breakfast, we spent some time by the pool, just relaxing and enjoying our last hours in Athens.

And then it was already time to check out and head to the airport. That felt so exciting to me. We had only known each other for 24 hours, and there we were, on our way to our next destination together. It felt spontaneous, exciting, and almost like we were in our own little dream.

When we arrived in Crete, we came to our private villa with a pool and access to the beach. It was beautiful. Quiet, luxurious, and really the kind of place where you can disappear from the outside world for a while.

We spent four nights there. The mornings were slow and relaxed, with a big breakfast by the pool, the sound of the sea in the background, and a soft breeze on our skin. During the day, we gave each other complete freedom. I really loved that. We didn’t have to be together every second to still feel close.

Sometimes we both took a little time for ourselves, and sometimes we found our way back to each other. Showering together with a view of the sea, taking a little nap, or giving each other a relaxing massage after a warm day in the sun. It all felt soft, easy, and intimate, without needing to be complicated.

One day, I went jet skiing, and that moment showed perfectly how different we were. He really didn’t want to get on it. He thought it was way too dangerous. But even though he was completely against it, he still stood there watching me for almost half an hour. I could see he was proud, and I thought that was so sweet. I went full speed over the waves, completely in my element, while he stayed safely on the side, still fully cheering me on in his own way.

The evenings were probably my favorite moments. Dinner during sunset, beautiful conversations, walking hand in hand along the beach, and simply enjoying the feeling of being there together.

Crete felt warm, calm, and a little bit like a dream. Four nights may sound short, but when you truly connect with someone, time feels different. What started as a spontaneous trip with someone I didn’t know yet became a memory I still look back on with a smile.
